You’ll be part of a team of friendly technicians who spread their time between working in the office and side by side with their clients. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside the company founders to help shape the future growth of the business.
As the ideal candidate, you’ll be outgoing, with great technical skills, a yearning for learning and a can-do attitude. You’ll be an enthusiastic user of the latest gadgets and keen to read up on what’s happening in the world of IT. The office hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm.
The role will provide a wide variety of interesting challenges and will involve working from the office and on the clients’ premises, so you’ll need to be able to drive and own your own vehicle. Your scope for learning new products and technologies is vast, as each new client has their own mix of equipment and unique challenges. This does mean you’ll need to be a fast learner, and be able to troubleshoot issues in a logical way to find a suitable resolution.
You’ll have worked with many different products and in particular you’ll have experience or strong knowledge of the following:
It goes without saying that you’ll be trustworthy and honest. You pride yourself on your ability to explain problems and solutions to the client in plain language, with no ‘geek speak’.
You will be supported by an experienced manager. You will be set monthly performance targets and expected to deliver against those.
