Office Highlights at 1-Fix Limited

For this blog, we thought we would share some of our highlights from our week in the office. We’re lucky to be set in rural Finchampstead surrounded by a farm, so for most of the day we can hear cows and cockerels around us. As well as watching the animals, we get up to lots of fun and de-stressing when we’re here.

Daily Swingball Games

One of our favourite ways to unload and de-stress is to have a game (or 2!) of Swingball. We find it so helpful to get up and away from our desks every so often, and we’ve become quite the pro’s if we do say so ourselves. At the moment, Callum is top of the leader board, but has strong competition from Jess and Bonnie. We’ve got so good at the game that we’ve recently had to upgrade to the Pro version after the regular set-up couldn’t handle our skills.

Dog visits

As you’re probably aware already from our Instagram page (if you’re not following then you’re missing out! Our handle is at the end of this blog), our office is very dog friendly. We often have canine visitors, and we’re sure our staff prefer the dogs to humans  😁

Last week, Callum was dog sitting for a relative, so he brought young Rolo in to see us. Check out the photo to see how adorable!

Weekly takeaways

Another one of our weekly highlights is our Thursday Cheat Days. As the name suggests, this consists of cupcakes, treats and a takeaway. We usually opt for our local Fish & Chips called Bob’s Fish & Chips which we recommend trying if you’re ever in the Finchampstead area.

1-Fix Team Awards

Although getting awards doesn’t happen every week, we thought it was definitely worth mentioning. As the end of the financial year approached, Craig and Bonnie were thinking of ways to reward the team. That’s when they thought about holding the 1st Annual 1-Fix Awards Ceremony. The awards, and their winners, are listed below!

-     IT Glue Superstar 2022 = Ben Taylor

-     Abundance Award 2022 = Grant Davis
