Our 2022 Highlights

Jess Dugdale • Dec 01, 2022

Here at 1-Fix we’ve experienced a lot in 2022. We’ve looked back at the past 12 months and would like to share our highlights.

New team members

We’ve been lucky to gain 3 new team members this year in our technician department. Sam joined us back in March part time, and has now gone on to do an apprenticeship with us. Alice joined shortly after, as well as Krishan who is our first ever fully-remote team member! All three new technicians have quickly become a big part of our team, and we can’t remember what it was like without them. They are always on hand to help within the team and with our clients too.

Shortlisted for awards

We’ve also been fortunate enough to be nominated and shortlisted for plenty of awards this year. The awards include a Wellbeing award, IT MSP under 1500 end users award, Member Contribution of the Year award and more!

In April, we awarded employees with internal awards to recognise their achievements in the 21-22 year. These included Customer Service Award, Happy To Help Award and even a Social Media Star Award! We can’t wait to bring this back in 2023 to show our appreciation to the team.

Wellness Wednesdays

In August, we launched our Wellness Wednesday initiative to boost our wellbeing efforts amongst the team. Each month we have a little treat aimed at increasing happiness and therefore boosting motivation. Our favourites so far include office massages, pumpkin carving, and team takeaway lunches!

From doing these activities, our staff have been happier when at work, and has brought a real sense of team bonding which can be difficult as we work in a hybrid environment. We can’t wait for next year’s Wellness Wednesdays as there is already lots planned so follow us on Instagram (@1fix_limited) to be the first to see what we’re up to.

1-Fix turns 20

This month we’re celebrating our 20th Birthday! From Craig’s garage to a full team, 1-Fix has grown massively over the years, and we can’t thank our wonderful clients enough for all their support. As a little token of our gratitude, we have sent out small (but delicious) gifts to each of them so they can celebrate with us. Let us know when you receive yours, and please tag us in any photos on social media!

Big plans for 2023

There are some big plans in the works for 1-Fix in 2023, starting with our office move in January. We’re leaving the barn-life behind for a brand-new space in Arena, Winnersh. We are so excited to meet our new office neighbours and bring some of our well-known charm to the area.

We are also planning some spectacular events in the coming year for local businesses to come and learn more about their IT whilst enjoying a great day out. Be sure to follow our LinkedIn page (@1-fix Limited) where we will be posting regular updates about these events.

We hope everyone has an amazing 2023, we can't wait to see what it brings!
