IT Support That Works With Your IT Team

Your team keeps control. We take the pressure off. Co-managed support that adds capacity without adding headcount.

We know what it looks like when a capable IT team is stretched too thin. Password resets swallow the day, the project you approved in January still hasn't started, and one person quietly holds all the knowledge.

Co-managed IT support fixes that without replacing anyone. Your internal team keeps ownership of your technology and the decisions that go with it. We pick up the work that's hard to resource in-house, whether that's first-line tickets, out-of-hours cover, holiday cover or specialist projects.

You choose the split, and you can change it whenever you need to. Most clients start narrow and widen the scope once they've seen how we work.

What is co-managed IT support?

Co-managed IT support is an arrangement where an external provider works alongside your existing IT team rather than replacing it. Your team keeps ownership of your technology and the decisions that go with it. We take on the work that is difficult to resource internally, which usually means 1st line tickets, out-of-hours cover, holiday and sickness cover, or specialist project work.

Will you replace our IT team?

No. That is the point of the arrangement. If you have capable people internally, replacing them rarely makes sense because they understand your business in a way an external team cannot. Co-managed support is designed to take the routine load and the out-of-hours worry off them so they can spend their time on the work that genuinely needs someone who knows the organisation.

What would you take on? And what stays with us?

You decide the split. Common arrangements are that we handle first-line tickers and monitoring while your team keeps projects and strategy, or your team keeps day-to-day support while we provide specialist security and cloud work. Most clients start with a narrow scope and widen it once they have seen how we work.

Can we change the split later?

Yes of course, and most clients do. The arrangement is meant to flex with what your team needs at the time. If a project lands, or someone leaves, or the work changes shape, the scope can change with it.

Does it cover holidays and sickness?

Yes, and this is one of the most common reasons businesses put an arrangement in place. A single internal IT person means a gap whenever they are away. Co-managed support closes that gap without you carrying a second salary to cover it.

How is this different to fully managed IT support?

Fully managed support means we take responsibility for your technology end to end, which suits businesses with no internal IT or with one person carrying too much. Co-managed means your team stats in charge and we add capacity and specialist depth around them.
