We take the stress out of compliance and security so you can focus on running your business, knowing everything is covered behind the scenes.

We help you stay ahead of general regulations as well as industry specific regulations you may face. With us as your IT partner, we protect sensitive data and avoid costly mistakes. Whether it’s Cyber Essentials, ISO Standards or industry requirements, we make sure you’re covered. The best part? We do all that without drowning you in tech jargon and paperwork.

Our approach is proactive, not reactive. This means spotting potential issues before the become problems and giving you the tools and support to stay secure day in, day out. You’ll have the confidence to say “yes” to client questions, audits and growth opportunities knowing your foundations are solid.

What is the difference between Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus?

Cyber Essentials is a self-assessment. You answer a questionnaire about five technical control areas, and it is reviewed by a certifying body. Cyber Essentials Plus covers the same five controls but adds a hands-on technical audit, where an assessor tests your systems rather than taking your word for it. CE+ is more work and costs more, but some clients and insurers ask for it specifically.

Do we actually need Cyber Essentials?

It depends on who you work with. It is mandatory for some government contracts, increasingly requested in supply chain due diligence, and often asked for by insurers. Even where nobody is asking, the five control areas it covers are the ones that prevent the most common attacks, so working through it is useful regardless of whether you certify.

Is cyber security included in IT support, or is it seperate?

The fundamentals should be inside your IT support agreement: endpoint protection, email security, multi-factor authentication, patching and access control. Deeper work usually sits alongside it, including certification, security awareness training, and producing evidence for audits or tenders.

Do you help with ISO27001?

Yes. ISO 27001 is a broader information security management standard than Cyber Essentials and takes considerably longer to achieve because it covers process and governance as well as technical controls. We have supported clients working towards it, including as part of wider security and asset management work.

What is multi-factor authentication, and do we need it?

Multi-factor authentication means a password alone is not enough to get into an account. The user also confirms with something else, usually an app on their phone. It is one of the five Cyber Essential control areas, and it stops the large majority of account takeover attempts. Government figures show 47% of UK businesses have it in place.

What happens if we are breached?

The first hours matter most, which is why the response should be agreed before anything happens, rather than worked out on the day. That means knowing who is called, what gets isolated, how you communicate with staff and clients, and what your reporting obligations are. We help clients put that plan in place and work through incidents with them when they occur.

Do you provide security awareness training?

Yes. Most successful attacks reach a business through a person rather than through a technical weakness, so training is one of the higher-value things you can do. It is included in some of our support packages, and can be added to others.

Could someone be sending emails as your business?

Find out instantly. Our free domain checker highlights potential email security risks and shows you how to strengthen your protection.
