Move your data, without the drama.

Migrating data can feel daunting, almost like trying to move house without losing the kettle. But it doesn’t have to be stressful.

We make data migrations smooth and simple so you can get on with business while we handle the heavy lifting.

We know how important it is to get things right when switching platforms, upgrading systems or consolidating data. Lost files, downtime, or compatibility issues can cause real headaches, and that’s exactly what we help you avoid.

Our friendly team take the time to understand your setup, your goals and your risks. Then, we build a migration plan that fits. No shortcuts and definitely no surprises. And we’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way so you can relax.

We handle everything from planning and testing, to execution and post-migration support so your data ends up exactly where it should be. Safe, secure and ready to go.

How long does a data migration take?

It depends mostly on how much data there is, how clean it is, and how many systems connect to it. A straightforward Microsoft 365 move for a small team can be done over a weekend. A larger migration with multiple systems, years of accumulated files and integrations to rebuild is planned over weeks. The discovery work at the start is what makes the estimate reliable.

Will we lose any data?

No, and the way that is guaranteed is by not switching anything off until the new environment has been checked. Data is copied rather than moved, the new system is verified against the old one, and the original stays available until everyone is satisfied. A migration plan that involves deleting the source before verification is not a plan worth agreeing to.

Will there be downtime?

Usually very little, and most migrations are scheduled so that the cutover happens outside working hours. Where some downtime is unavoidable, you will know how long it will be and when it will happen before it is booked in.

What actually gets migrated?

That is agreed in advance and written down. Typically it covers email and calendars, files and folder structures with their permissions, shared mailboxes, Teams and SharePoint content, and any line-of-business data that sits alongside it. Permissions are the part most often overlooked, and getting them wrong is how people end up seeing things they should not.

Can you migrate from our current provider's systems?

Yes. Moving from another provider is one of the most common reasons for a migration. We document what exists first, which frequently turns up things nobody has looked at in a while, and agree the handover of administrative access as part of the plan.

What happens to the old system afterwards?

It is kept available for an agreed period after cutover so anything missed can be retrieved, then decommissioned properly. Decommissioning matters, because an old system left running is one nobody is patching.
